This past weekend, Sarah was kind enough to share her thoughts with me, on dreams for her wedding and advice for other bride’s to be. So, without further ado….
Describe yourselves as a couple, in 3 words: Loving, Trusting, Supportive
Describe your perfect sunday:
Sleep in, then Breakfast at the K.C.’s Cafe in Poco (Trevor gets the hungry man and I get pancakes and fruit!). After: a long walk along the river with our dog Maddie with Starbucks in hand. In the evening, we’d relax and make dinner together.
Paint us picture of your wedding day, as you see it in your dreams:
Pretty Country Vintage is what I’m telling people! We will have our first look in Fort Langley before the ceremony and I am very much looking forward to this special moment when I see Trevor for the first time on our special day. Our ceremony is in my parent’s backyard where I grew up and all of our family and closest friends are there. The reception will take place at the Fort Langley Community Hall (a heritage building) and it will be romantic, pretty and fun!
What special touches are you adding to your wedding, to create an authentic and genuine portrayal of your two hearts?
I am collecting items from family members that are special to them and us (teacups, tablecloths, jewellery, fabrics, frames, dishes etc). I want to incorporate as much personal details as possible into our wedding.
Also, We have spent many hours together making a short stop motion video for our save the date. We are excited to send it out!
What have you learnt so far in your wedding planning that you could offer as advice to other brides to be?
Ask previous brides and grooms for any advice on vendors before starting your search online. Almost everyone we are using has been recommended to us, so we are confident everything will go well on our wedding day!
What drew you to KME and excites you most about working with Kailey-Michelle?
The moment we sat down together I could tell she was professional, organized, personable and creative. And, once I showed her some pictures of ideas I had and gave a brief description of what I was looking for, she assured me she understood and could make it happen! Her passion for pretty and fabulous things assured me that we will a beautiful and stress-free day!
A virtual round of applause for the beautiful couple and to Sarah, for sharing with us! And lets not forget, Matt Kennedy, the talented man behind their engagement photos!
Stay tuned, Lovelies and watch as their fairytale unfolds…..Posted in Engagement, KME Couples
