I’m over the moon excited to share Part one of the home-spun vintage affair of Trevor and Sarah Street.
This adorable couple’s heartfelt Fort Langley Hall wedding will be one I hold close to my heart for years; there were countless wonderful memories made throughout the planning process, personal moments shared and much joy filled laughter.
God worked in numerous mysterious ways throughout the year I worked with these two, their closest friends and family; too many to count and for that, I feel privileged to have been used for a greater good!
One thing I love most about Sarah is her savvyness. I fell in love with her ability (not to mention her bridesmaids’ abilities) to spend less for far more! Her resourcefulness, willingness to hunt for bargains and craft until her heart’s content, flourished in every aspect of her personalized nuptials. She truly understood my mantra of “in style and on budget!”
Case in Point: To the surprise of almost everyone, Sarah’s striking gown was bought second hand and paired with a gorgeous crystal belt.
Their first look, which took place on the staircase of the Fort Langley hall, blew every other one I’ve experienced out of the water. After hearing my husband and I wrote letters to each other, which we read out loud back to back, Sarah swooned and ran with the idea. The two read each others words in silence around the corner before revealing themselves for the first time.
Trevor, having served in the Army in his “previous life” appears to be the epitome of a manly man; rugged, strong, powerful, reserved. But after getting to know him and seeing first hand his love and adoration for Sarah, it became evident his heart more resembled a cuddly teddy bear.
Another highlight of their day was working with the incredibly talented Matt Kennedy. He seriously knocks my socks off; from professionalism to style, he embodies all that modern wedding photography should be.
And then there’s their bridal party; I absolute adore this crew! We spent hours together I’ll cherish; crafting, sharing stories and indulging in fabulous vino! Sarah was blessed to have the most helpful and supportive bridesmaids a lady could wish for and me, the most organized party I could hope for.
Stay tuned for part two of Sarah and Trevor’s Fort Langley Hall Wedding | a home-spun vintage affair.
