A few weeks back, as many of you know, I had the ultimate pleasure of taking part in not one, but two fabulous endeavors, orchestrated by Matt Kennedy, a local wedding photographer. So, with my girlfriends in tow, we set out to check flash mob and guinness world record off our bucket lists!
Seriously- how cool will it be to look back when we’re 80 and remember doing this together ?!
For those that don’t know, I trained to be a professional dancer for most of my early years, which derailed after a string of car accidents in my late teens. The opportunity to get back out there and dance was incredibly exciting and nerve racking all at the same time. So, when Matt reached out, asking me to be front and center, I jumped at the opportunity to face fear straight in the face; let’s just say the butterflies lived in my stomach for nearly to 3 days prior.
That saturday was filled with giddy anticipation, countless calories shed and eager shock in discovering press and media were present! And to top it off, we happened to meet a Bachelor Canada Contestant who stalked us in confusion and ultimately asked for us to be part of her submission video. Cool, no?!
So, without further adieu, grab a cup of Java, sit back and watch the magic unfold!
A huge thank you to Matt for doing SUCH a phenomenal job with this project and for inspiring so many of us to embrace out inner child again! Side note and shameless plug: If you’re looking for Vibrant, Fresh and Candid Photography, Matt is your guy!
